Egypt purchased 84.5 KMT of vegoils through tender
29 March, 2019 at 14:03Egypt’s state buyer GASC purchased 84.5 KMT of vegetable oils through a tender held on March 28, 2019.
According to trade sources, 30 KMT of the commodity was bought from ADM at a price of USD 676.5/MT, 10.5 KMT was purchased in the domestic market from Cargill Watanya and 12 KMT from Alexseeds at a price of EGP 11,730/MT (USD 677/MT). In addition, 17 KMT of sunflower oil was purchased from Aston and 15 KMT from Hakan Agro at a price of USD 694/MT.
The imported vegetable oils will be paid for within 180 days after delivery.
The delivery period for the soybean oil is May 1-31, 2019.
The delivery period for the sunflower oil is May 1-20, 2019.
