Egypt purchased a minimum quantity of wheat in a tender

In a tender held on July 17, Egypt purchased just one cargo of Russian wheat (60 KMT), which is to be delivered on August 21-31, 2019. The purchase price was $215.54/MT C&F (FOB $201.35/MT + freight $14.19/MT). At the same time, Ukrainian wheat was offered at the lowest price ($198.5/MT FOB).

In the previous tender held on July 09, 2019, Egypt purchased 240 KMT of milling wheat from Romania and Ukraine for delivery on August 10 - 20, 2019. The average purchase price equaled $213.92/MT C&F.
