Within the framework of the Second India-Russia Strategic Economic Dialogue, the parties considered a number of important issues concerning the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation, government support to Russian and Indian businesses, strengthening of industrial and technical relations in various sectors of the economy. The parties outlines further steps towards establishing cooperation and developing interaction with the purpose of mutually beneficial problem solving.

So, the Indian party will consider the possibility of increasing imports of Russian sunflower oil, because Russia’s share is insignificant compared to supplies from other countries (some 10 MMT a year).
