EU imported almost 0.5 MMT of Ukrainian rapeseed in July

Ukraine exported 487.2 KMT of rapeseed in the first month of the new 2019/20 season that is a record high for this time, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The EU remains the top importer with a market share of 93%. Its purchases gained 70.2% from last year due to a decline in the European rapeseed crop (451.5 KMT against 265.2 KMT, respectively).

Growth in exports was observed to the following key markets: Belgium (+167%), France (+282%), Poland (+23%). A slowdown in exports was registered to Germany (-19%).
