Moisture supply. Favorable conditions for planting, emergence and further growth of winter grains develop in areas where the topsoil still has good moisture content.
Crop condition. An unfavorable situation for winter crops develop in the south, southeast and some central and northern areas where the top 0-10-cm soil layer is barely moist, locally even dry. This complicates tillage as well as germination and emergence of winter grains, reports UkrAgroConsult.
