Egypt issued a tender to purchase vegetable oils

According to market participants, the Egyptian state buyer GASC has issued a tender to purchase 15 KMT of sunflower oil and 30 KMT of soybean oil for US dollars as well as 5 KMT and 10 KMT of these commodities, respectively, for Egyptian pounds.

The vegetable oils are to be delivered on December 1-15, 2018.

The deadline for bidding is October 24, 2018.

As a reminder, in the previous tender held on September 25, 2018, Egypt bought 21.5 KMT of sunflower oil and 30 KMT of soybean oil.
