16 July, 2019 at 10:07

June 2019 turned out to be the hottest in the entire history of meteorological observations. High air temperatures of 30-37°С prevailed all over grain and oilseed cultivation areas. The average monthly air temperature was 4.0-5.5°C above normal. Until this year, the hottest was June 1999 with a positive abnormality of 3.3°С.

In Ukraine, the hot June was followed by a cold snap on July 1-10, when the average daytime air temperature fell to 15-20°С. In addition, quite abundant precipitation is forecast in the coming days, mostly all over the country except for the south.
