Egypt issued a milling wheat tender

Today, March 15, 2018, GASC will hold a milling wheat tender for delivery on April 15-25, 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.

In the last tender of March 06, 2018, Egypt bought 175 KMT of milling wheat from Russia to be delivered on April 05-15, 2018 at an average price of USD 230.63/MT C&F. The price in the previous tender equaled USD 223.50//MT C&F.

As a reminder, the Egyptian state buyer GASC purchased 29.5 KMT of sunflower oil and 37 KMT soybean oil in a tender held on March 14, 2018. The delivery period of soybean oil is May 1-15, 2018. And for sunflower oil it is May 15-30, 2018.

On Monday, February 26, China’s General Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (GAQSIQ) announced the lifting of a ban on wheat imports from six Russian regions. The ban had been in force since 2016.
