The Bulgarian Ag Ministry’s final report on the 2018 rapeseed crop contains no changes from June:

- the total rapeseed crop placed at 471 KMT (down 1.7% from 2017);

- the planted area is at a four-year high of 185 Th ha (up 12% from 2017);

- rapeseed yield is at 2.58 MT/ha, i.e. below its five-year average of 2.74 MT/ha).

Rapeseed crush has been falling for a second consecutive season, almost all rapeseed exports went to the EU, reports UkrAgroConsult.

In 2019/20 season the rapeseed crop will fall because of an acreage decrease and a yield drop below the five-year average. Crop decline will be partially offset by rapeseed imports.

As UkrAgroConsult stated before, the trend of the previous two seasons will continue in MY 2019/20.
