Egypt: 41.5 KMT of vegoils purchased in a tender
9 August, 2018 at 16:08The Egyptian state buyer GASC purchased 21.5 KMT of sunflower oil and 20 KMT soybean oil in a tender held on August 8, 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.
According to market participants, the sunflower oil was bought from Aston (11.5 KMT at a price of USD 760.93/MT) and from ADM (10 KMT at a price of USD 760.94/MT). The soybean oil was bought from Alex Seeds Co (10 KMT at a price of USD 678.54/MT) and Cargill (10 KMT at a price of EGP 12300/MT, USD 687.54/MT).
The delivery period is September 15-30, 2018.
Palm oil imports to Russia totaled 77.2 KMT in May 2018, or 13.2% more than in the previous month and up 29.3% from May 2017.
