7 May, 2019 at 17:05

The Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan has passed a bill on an interim agreement leading to the establishment of a free trade area between the Eurasian Economic Union countries and Iran, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The signed document is aimed at the ratification of an agreement concluded in Kazakhstan on May 17, 2018. The agreement provides for setting up a three-year preferential trade regime with reducing import customs duties in mutual trade between the Union’s member states and Iran for a number of agreed goods, including pulses and vegetable oils.
