Russian-Belgian enterprise launching the first stage of the biggest linseed crusher

The first stage of a linseed oil plant, a Russian-Belgian joint venture, has been launched at facilities of an oil extractor put back into operation in the town of Azov.

The project was implemented by LLC АСВА, which had been established by the companies Aston (Rostov-on-Don) and Vandeputte Huilerie (Belgium).

The design capacity is 30-35 KMT of linseed a year.

The main stage of the project envisages the plant construction in Novoalexandrovskaya industrial area. This will be the first specialized plant in Russia and the world’s biggest linseed oil producer, UkrAgroConsult reports.

The design capacity is 150 KMT of oilseed a year or 450 MT a day.

The investment projection cost is RUB 1.5-1.7 Bl. The project is to be completed in 2023.
