Russian corn shipments to the EU increasing from month to month

465 KMT of Russian corn was exported in February. This is by 20% higher from January and by 39% higher from February 2019/20. This season's exports totaled 1.8 MMT (-9% y-o-y), UkrAgroConsult reports.

In February, the highest volume went to Iran – almost 133 KMT.

Russian corn shipments to EU countries increase from month to month.

Most buyers stepped up purchases from the same time last year: China and the United Kingdom (up sevenfold), Georgia (up almost threefold), ЕС (+52%), South Korea (+3%), Japan (+93%), Armenia (+14%).

Last season's major importers slashed corn purchases from Russia: Iran (-32% y-o-y) and Turkey (-49%).
