Early-October corn inventories in Ukraine increased more than 90%

According to the State Statistics Service, stocks of cereals and pulses in Ukraine totaled 22 MMT as of October 1, 2018. This is more than 3.5% from the same date last year (21.3 MMT).

At the time, wheat stocks were less 12.5% at 12.3 MMT versus 14 MMT on October 1, 2017. Barley inventories dropped 4.3% from a year ago, to a bit more than 2.5 MMT against 2.4 MMT in September 2017.

Corn stocks expanded. They totaled 5.8 MMT as of the reporting date that is 90.5% more than a year ago (3.1 MMT).
