In Kazakhstan, export quotas for sunflower seed and oil to be effective until July 2022

Kazakhstan’s government has approved export quotas for sunflower seed and oil exports for the period from December 1, 2021 till July 1, 2022. Initially, the quotas were set for the period from August 6, 2021 till February 1, 2022, UkrAgroConsult reports.

The sunseed export quota is set at 125 KMT: 50 KMT in December and January each, 5 KMT a month in February to June.

The export quota for sunflower oil is 110 KMT: 16 KMT a month in December to April, 15 KMT a month in May to June.

The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs (Atameken) will adjust the quota size at intergovernmental commission meetings every month, taking into consideration the market situation.
