BLACK SEA GRAIN.EUROPE-2025: Agricultural sector leaders discussed challenges and prospects of the market

19 February, 2025 at 17:02

On February 13-14, the 22nd International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.EUROPE-2025 took place at the Marriott Hotel in Prague, bringing together agricultural sector leaders from over 25 countries. The event served as a platform for discussing key challenges and prospects of the global and regional grain and oilseed markets, as well as trade, logistics, and EU agricultural policy. Participants included grain and oilseed producers and processors, commodity traders, representatives from the agri-food, logistics, and financial sectors, government bodies, and industry associations.

Attendees had the opportunity to engage in discussions on the future of the agricultural sector in 2025, the outlook for wheat, corn, and soy in Europe, as well as the market situations in Brazil, Argentina, and MERCOSUR countries. A significant focus was placed on the reform of the global commodity market, the impact of European agricultural legislation on the region, and opportunities for sustainable development. Special attention was given to tools for enhancing the resilience of the agro-industrial sector and production strategies in an evolving global landscape.

The conference became a venue for experience exchange, establishing new business connections, and developing strategic partnerships. Key topics of interest included grain and oilseed safety in war-affected areas and the development of regional supply chains and logistics to meet global demand. Participants explored contemporary challenges impacting the agri-food market and sought solutions to address them.

BLACK SEA GRAIN.EUROPE-2025 showcased high engagement and enthusiasm from the agricultural community, speakers, sponsors, and partners. The event's atmosphere was filled with energy, collaboration, and a shared commitment to advancing the agricultural sector. The organizers extend their gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to making the event unforgettable.
