According to current information of the State Statistics Service, sunseed stocks in Ukraine totaled 5533.5 KMT as of February 1, 2019 that is up 9.3% from the same date last year (5061.1 KMT). This included 3235.4 KMT held on farms (up 586.4 KMT, or 22.1% from February 1, 2018) and 2298.1 KMT at storage and processing facilities (up 114 KMT, or 4.7% on the year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
As of February 1, 2019, crusher soybean stocks were up 21.3% year-on-year at 809.9 KMT against 667.6 KMT on February 1, 2018. Rapeseed stocks as of the reporting date were 27.2% higher than a year earlier (85.1 KMT against 66.9 KMT, respectively) due to an earlier start of this year’s harvest.
