Egypt purchased 46.5 KMT of vegetable oils in a tender

In a tender held on February 21, 2019, Egypt’s state buyer GASC purchased 30 KMT of sunflower oil and 16.5 KMT of soybean oil, reports UkrAgroConsult.

According to trade sources, the sunflower oil was bought entirely from Glencore at a price of USD 698/MT. The soybean oil was purchased in the domestic market from Cargill Watanya at a price of EGP 12,655/MT (USD 720.26/MT).

The delivery period is April 5-20, 2019.
