In the USDA’s March report, the Black Sea oilseed crop in the 2018/19 season was raised to 45.6 MMT (+0.1 MMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

The sunseed crop in the region is expected to rise to 31,258 KMT. Its estimate for Russia increased to 12,710 KMT (+160 KMT), but this gain will be offset by a 152 KMT drop in Kazakhstan’s production (to 848 KMT).

The 2018/19 rapeseed crop in the Black Sea region will increase to 5,827 KMT at the expense of an upward adjustment for Kazakhstan to 394 KMT (+119 KMT) with reduced production figures for Russia (1,989 KMT, or -11 KMT) and Belarus (456 KMT, or -94 KMT).

The forecast for Black Sea soybean production was raised to 8,527 KMT (+127 KMT) at the expense of a rise in Russia’s crop (4,027 KMT against a previous estimate of 3,900 KMT).
