Ukraine. Planting of early spring grains more than 11% complete

As of March 13, 2019, planting of early spring grains was in progress in 14 regions of Ukraine, where farmers had planted 258 Th ha to them (11% complete), reports UkrAgroConsult.
Spring fertilization of winter grains continues: growers had already fertilized 5444 Th ha of these crops (72% of the plan) by the reporting date. In particular, the fertilized area included 4528 Th ha of winter wheat (70% complete), 70 Th ha of winter rye (61%) and 846 Th ha of winter barley (84%).
