Groats production in Ukraine continues following an upward trend. So, their output in January – February 2019 was up 26% year-on-year.
In the reporting period, the greatest gain was seen in production of hulled, half-hulled or crushed rice (+105%). That of wheat and corn groats was also boosted (+76% and +67%, respectively).
At the same time, January – February 2019 witnessed a decline in the output of oat and barley groats (down 13% and 6%, respectively), reports UkrAgroConsult.
