In its May report, the USDA published the first forecast for MY 2019/20.
The forecast for the Black Sea oilseeds crop was raised by 560 KMT from MY 2018/19, to 46,148 KMT, due to higher production of soybeans and rapeseed.
So, rapeseed output in Black Sea countries is predicted at 6898 KMT (+1035 KMT) due to its increases in Belarus and Russia. The soybean crop is estimated at 8,700 KMT (+117 KMT) due to raised figures for Russia and Turkey.
At the same time, the sunflower seed crop is forecast to fall to 30,550 KMT (down 592 KMT) due to production drops in Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
