Belarus. Gomel region began harvesting winter rapeseed

Farmers almost all over Gomel region have begun harvesting rapeseed for grain. This season’s abnormal heat and lack of precipitation caused an earlier start of harvesting, reports UkrAgroConsult.

It is projected to harvest rapeseed from 46.6 Th ha. The first harvested areas (crops damaged to the highest degree) show a yield of 1.15 MT/ha, but the final yield is expected to be somewhat higher than last year, at 1.2 MT/ha.
