Russia. Parliament to consider a bill stripping palm oil of tax benefits
23 July, 2019 at 14:07A bill raising value-added tax (VAT) on palm oil to 20% was submitted to parliament on July 18.
The reduced VAT rate for palm oil was introduced by the government resolution of December 31, 2004, which approved a list of food products and children’s goods charged with value-added tax at a 10% rate.
