Cargill started exporting Russian lecithin

The company Cargill has begun producing lecithin on the basis of an oil extraction plant in Volgograd region, which was launched at the end of 2018, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The first 20 MT of the product was exported to the Netherlands. The plant will ship abroad 1.8 KMT of lecithin by the year-end.

The plant processed 200 KMT of sunflower seed last year. in the near future, its capacity will reach the designed 640 KMT of sunflower seed per annum. Potentially, the producer can make 260 KMT of sunflower oil and 240 KMT of meal.
