Ukraine. Corn yield is 6.3% higher than in 2018

According to the latest information, as of September 11, planting of winter grains has accelerated to 11.2% ahead of last year. Planting of winter rape has accelerated (12.0% ahead of last year), reports UkrAgroConsult.

Corn harvest has accelerated to 48.1% behind last year, with yield being 6.3% higher than in 2018.

Buckwheat harvest has picked up, being just 47.6% behind last year now, with a 4.6% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 95.1% ahead of last year, with a 18.3% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest has accelerated (23.1% ahead of 2018), with its yield and total crop being up 3.0% and 26.5% year-on-year, respectively.

Soybean harvest is 45.5% ahead of last year, with a 4.7% lower yield than in 2018.
