According to the latest update as of October 31, planting of winter grains 1.8% behind last year. The area planted to winter rape is already 3 Th ha above the official forecast and up 5.9% year-on-year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Corn harvest accelerated to 16.9% ahead of last year, its yield is down 2.9% from October 31, 2018. Buckwheat harvest is 37.9% behind last year, with 4.7% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 68.2% ahead of last year, with 20.4% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest progress is 2.6% behind last year, with 9.1% higher yield than in 2018. Soybean harvest is 4.6% behind last year, with yield down 9.0% from 2018.
