Ukraine. Sunflower yield is 9% higher than in 2018

According to the latest update as of November 7, planting of winter grains 2.1% behind last year. The area planted to winter rape is already 6 Th ha above the official forecast and up 6.1% year-on-year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Corn harvest accelerated to 16.2% ahead of last year, its yield is down 4.5% from November 7, 2018. Buckwheat harvest is almost finished at 99% complete, with the crop being 34.7% smaller than last year.

Millet harvest is 70.3% ahead of last year, with 19.1% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest progress is 3.0% behind last year, with 9.0% higher yield than in 2018. Soybean harvest progress is 6.3% behind last year, with yield down 9.2% from 2018.
