Wheat exports from Russia rose fourfold in MY 2018/19

According to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor), Russian exports of grains and grain products on July 1-24, 2018 totaled 3.8 MMT that is twice as much as at the same time last year (1.7 MMT).


The exports included the following:

- wheat – 2.7 MMT (four times as much as in the same period last year),


- barley – 512 KMT (+7%),


- corn – 223 KMT (-31%),


- peas – 53 KMT (twice as much as on July 1-24, 2017).


At the same time, the country also exported 56 KMT of wheat bran (+27%) and 14 KMT of flour (-2%).
