Ukraine. Kernel’s new plant to start operating in 2021

The press service of Kernel Agroholding has published some parameters of an oilseed crushing plant currently under construction in West Ukraine (Starokostyantyniv district, Khmelnytsky region). Its design crushing capacity will be 1 MMT a year with storage spaces totaling 100 KMT. Its launch is scheduled for 2021. The project provides for building a 22 MW thermal power plant operating on sunflower husks.

Kernel is going to install similar power plants at all of its crushers by the end of 2020, with a combined generating capacity  of 72 MW.
