In MY 2021/22, Turkey’s sunflower seed production recovered to 1.75 MMT (+12% from MY 2020/21) due to an expansion of plantings to a record 760 Th ha (+5%) and a yield increase to 2.3 MT/ha (+6%).

At the same time, domestic crush is expected to rise to an all-time high...
