Ukraine. Corn harvest is 18.0% behind last year

According to the latest update, as of September 23, planting of winter grains has slowed down (12.4% behind last year). Planting of winter rape is 4.2% ahead of last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Harvest of late crops: corn harvest is 18.0% behind last year, with 6.0% higher yield than in 2018. Buckwheat harvest is 31.3% behind last year, with 4.7% higher yield than in 2018. Millet harvest is 85.9% ahead of last year, with yield 17.9% higher yield than in 2018.

Sunflower harvest progress and yield are up 13.0% and 5.8% year-on-year, respectively. Soybean harvest has slowed down, but it is 30.4% ahead of last year with 6.2% lower yield than in 2018.
