0.15 KMT of rape oil was produced in Ukraine in March 2019 against 0.21 KMT in the previous month and 0.23 KMT in March 2018. Due to active rapeseed crushing early this season, total oil production in July-March still remained at a high level of 125.3 KMT, or up 54.1% from last year (81.3 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.
Taking into account the trends of this 2018/19 season, when active rapeseed exports curb domestic crush, UkrAgroConsult forecasts rape oil production at 126-130 KMT. This would be the second largest volume on record in Ukraine.
The crop is now estimated down 10% year-on-year at 1512 KMT.
