April’s wheat exports from Ukraine totaled 941.4 KMT, that became the smallest volume in four years. 14.28 MMT was exported in July-April 2018/19, down 7% year-on-year, reports UkrAgroConsult.
Indonesia is this season’s biggest importer with a market share of 17%. Exports to this country hit an all-time high of 2.45 MMT. In MY 2018/19, Ukraine exported wheat to Qatar for the first time ever and to Ireland and Guinea for the first time in ten years.
Growth in exports to major markets Indonesia (+25%), Philippines (+50%), Morocco (+23%), Thailand (+23%).
Drops in Ukraine’s exports to the following countries: Bangladesh (-29%), EU (-46%), Tunisia (-4%), South Korea (-26%).
