Barley inventories in Ukraine down 15% from last year

According to the State Statistics Service, stocks of cereals and pulses in Ukraine totaled 8.84 MMT as of June 1, 2018. This is down 6% from the same date last year (8.84 MMT).

At the time, wheat stocks were down 8.9% at 2.74 MMT versus 3.0 MMT on June 1, 2017. Barley inventories dwindled by 14.6% from a year ago, to a bit more than 709.3 KMT against 830.6 MMT in June 2017.

Corn stocks went down too. They totaled 4.31 MMT as of the reporting date that is 6.1% less than a year ago (4.59 MMT).
