Weather conditions. Air temperatures were largely above the biological minimum needed for winter cereals and rape to grow normally.
Moisture supply. Moisture content in the top 0-10 cm soil layer was adequate.
Crop condition. Air temperatures did not hit dangerous lows. Farmers enjoyed suitable conditions for the completion of sunflower planting, UkrAgroConsult reports.
